One of our favorites includes the Atlantic Trail, which hugs Rockport's rocky coastline directly behind The Emerson Inn. The inn is only a few moments drive (or about 20 minute walk) to Halibut Point State Park, from which you can see Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine on a clear day.
